Grief Education and Coaching. Individual and Group sessions. (Generally 45 Minutes)

Whether for individuals or organizations, my 45-minute sessions provide compassionate, research-based support for navigating grief, change, and loss.

For individuals, I combine my certifications as a grief educator, health coach, personal trainer, and behavior change specialist to offer a safe, non-judgmental space for your story. While I am not a licensed therapist, I act as a compassionate witness — a role shown in research to help people integrate and process their grief. My approach draws from neuroscience, Stroebe and Schut’s Dual Process Model and Continuing Bonds Theory, and the work of David Kessler, who mentored me and expanded Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’s five stages of grief to include meaning-making as a sixth stage. Modern grief information now goes far beyond the idea of simplicity and stages, and we will integrate the latest researching findings. We all agree each person's grief journey is unique, and your experience is yours alone. I am here to combine the exisitng understandings and commonalities with my own unique backgound to help you find relief and tools that work for you.

For workplaces, I partner with organizations to support employees and managers after bereavement events or major changes, offering grief-informed conversations, practical planning, and connection to additional resources — an especially valuable bridge when EAP or professional services have long wait times.

These sessions do not replace therapy or the care of a licensed mental health professional. This is meant to be a supplement to your provider's care. These educational sessions empower participants with tools, language, and compassionate presence that foster healing and resilience.
